Bio

Kyle Freeman (b.1989) is a conceptual artist, painter, and printmaker who lives and works in New York.

He received a B.F.A. from Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA). Recent group shows include: XL-XS at The University of Maryland, College Park, Aftermath, at Nomad Gallery, Basic Elements, at Maryland Federation of Art, and Obscurities, at Silber Gallery, Goucher College.

His recent works examine and reinterpret the shifting boundaries between public and private space within today's society. He often employs very calculated, yet seemingly spontaneous gestures, as he collects, categorizes, and manipulates imagery from an infinite library of digitally available source material.
